To Destroy Can Feel Good
How do you feel about destroying what must be destroyed in your life?
This question has pondered me all week it was a question in the #desiremap Planner Sunday, October 11th.
Earlier this week I wrote a blog on this and posted on Facebook – I had over 250 likes and several comments – seems like it really struck a core!
Destroying seems like a very powerful word. Most would associate it with violence, negativity, riots, vandalism or even the possibly of war. But haven’t you ever felt a great relief after taking down something that was not good for your soul. How about a wall in your apartment or house or old wallpaper or even an art project or craft that just was not cooperating…….then you smashed it and something better appeared!
For me I focus in on taking down the old conditioning in my mind that once stopped me in my tracks from the big magic that’s happening right now in my life. Actually has been unfolding and I was not seeing the journey only looking for this hit me in the face feeling to happen. For me, it’s all about destroying old beliefs, some habits of self-sabotage and I am discovering my gifts of helping others create change in their lives with Desire Map Workshops, Power Presentations in Baltimore and simply opening up the possibility of “what if” “as one looks inside themselves to learn how to peel away the onion and be the courageous person you are meant to be!
I love the bonus part of the Desire Map workshop when we talk about how we already have what we want and need.
When we shift to that we ease up on ourselves…with people around us and we definitely feel more grateful. Gratitude then automatically shows up in our service to others….no matter if its service in love to our families or our service thru our businesses to others.
I love this graphic! I absolutely adore a visual which creates inside of me a fierce fabulous fiery feeling — Look into these beautiful turquoise eyes…destroying can be big! Let’s shift our mindset to think about “destroying” in an empowering way!
