Courage Café Chat Wednesday – August 5, 2015 – 8pm ET No Permission Required
“You get from this life what you have the courage to ask for” – Oprah
- Courage is asking for what you need
- Courage or Comfort – choose one you can’t have both
- Without Courage everything seems difficult
I totally had to tell myself I had permission not to write my blog ahead of time this week as I sat down to write and I felt so anxious. I took many walks listened to many podcasts to open up my juicy senses and I was still rattled. When I get in those moments they are always whispers (although this felt like a big knot) something is ahead and it summons my open heart, awareness and courage.
After a fabulous chat I was on last night w Andrea Sanchez, #daretobe, it was about excuses. I let it rip – screw this and screw that – why do we have to feel a certain way if we don’t want to do something – the heck with a responsibility laying on our shoulders and making us feel a certain way – why are we doing this to ourselves?
Who says we have to give ourselves permission……just do it – feel it – be it – hate it or love it. What guides this inner emotion of self to guilt, lies we are telling ourselves, story in our DNA and on and on. Who made these damn rules anyway?
I think I was feeling confined working on clients strategy of their businesses and feeling boxed in to the point of suffocation. Why am I still looking for that permission on the deep dark inside but on the outside I am a wild wondrous abundant creature?
What story do we hold back and all of us are on the verge of such magic we can’t even imagine that feeling…………like that first kiss and its tingly all over your body – that is the feeling I want to live in the space I want to be in and to get there “no permission is required” just love of myself and insane courage to get there xo
Courage Café Chat allows us to walk together and find courage even when life throws us curve balls. How we “feel” often determines our actions. Speaking our truth and accepting where we are in this place and time allows us to shift and create new ways of feeling and thinking to open doors.
It takes insane courage to detach and speak from the inside out…..heart centered living or soulful living to walk tall and believe we are enough, we matter.
After all….isn’t life about the journey and the feeling and courage to get to that place?
